Vic's Drive In, located at 25 Second St S in Friday Harbor, WA, offers a delightful dive into classic Americana. Cherished by locals and visitors alike, this longstanding establishment has built a reputation for its flavorful offerings and nostalgic ambiance. Customers rave about the rich history of the drive-in, with some walls adorned with remnants dating back to the 1980s. The owners amicably blend modern upgrades while respecting the restaurant's heritage.
Patrons like Ryan and Easton have praised the stellar service paired with generously portioned meals. The chicken nugget basket, described as an “wonderland of flavor,” earns high marks from kids and adults alike. Vic's signature Mexiburger, bursting with toppings, exemplifies the messy, indulgent experience that one anticipates at a classic burger joint. Though the prices may edge on the higher side for fast food, the quality of locally sourced ingredients compensates for this, ensuring every bite is worth every penny.
Overall, Vic's Drive In stands as a beloved island institution that not only serves mouthwatering food but also invites guests to partake in a slice of culinary history, all while being greeted by warm smiles. If you're in the area, this charming spot is a must-visit!

My cousin and I stopped at Vic's as it seemed to be one of the few spots we could just grab something quick to bring back to our cabin. Vic's has been around a long time and changed hands from one family to another. I started asking questions about the history and was able to learn about the signature wall that dates back to 1980s but some are fading so could be older. They put some of the original flooring on the wall behind the Vic family portrait. The current family had to do some upgrades but try to keep as much as they can to keep the history of the place. They replaced the seating but still use the old ones. When you make a stop, learn about the history. :)

The woman up front was super friendly and greeted everyone with a smile. She looked very busy yet was knocking out all the orders and serving without issue. The food was wonderful and plentiful. My son described his chicken nugget basket with a “oh my gosh it’s like real chicken!” He also said his nuggets were “bussin’!” (That’s a good thing), and “a wonderland of flavor.” No joke, I’ve never heard him speak so highly of chicken nuggets or possibly anything before. My mexiburger was also outstanding. They didn’t skimp on toppings at all and there were so many jalapenos on there! The picture doesn’t do it justice. It was definitely a messy burger, but I figure that’s how you know it’s good! The shake was very good as well, although I don’t think I’d spend 7 on that portion again. Highly recommended! Thanks for the great lunch!

We really enjoyed the old timey ambience of Vic’s. Our burgers and sides were delicious as well. Our server was chipper and made great recommendations. It is a little more on the pricey side for fast food, but we didn’t mind to support a long time island institution. This is a great old school burger joint.

Small town burger joint with locally sourced ingredients on the islands. That's about perfect. I love finding the mom and pop burger joints that have been around forever, and this one fits that bill. Been around 65 years.

Very good fish and chips. Vic's is very clean and friendly. The best fish and chips. You can tell when they use good clean oil. I usually avoid fried fish because of the after effects. None of that at Vicks. Great shakes.

Small diner that serves excellent food. Burgers, chicken sandwiches, chicken strips and milkshakes: just to name a few. Bench seats with tables. They even prepare patties for the fur babies.

Fast friendly service. Had the cap'n Crunch crusted French toast and a drank chocolate espresso cold brew. Both were delicious . Great breakfast spot. Even better lunch spot. All should check it out
